  • Hartside Cafe–  It is on the summit ridge of the North Pennines at an altitude of around 2,000 feet above sea level. It has an extensive car park. Stunning views towards the Lake District and Solway Firth on a clear day. Closed at the moment because of a fire but serving food and drinks in the car park.
